Dec 1, 2013

This morning we arrived at Trinity for worship at 8:00 AM. which included participation by the kids.

Pastor Jacoby preached the sermon and Jesse translated
This little one's name is Martha and she was abandoned by her Mother and Father.  One of the ladies of the church took her in but is having a hard time feeding her since milk is very expensive over here.  They wanted us to take her home.  Of course, adoption from Cambodia is very hard.  We will see what we can do to find some sponsors for her at least until she is off the bottle.

Some of the group took a hike up the mountain called Phnom Son Pov.  There are several Buddhist and Hindu temples on the top and the view was spectacular.  You could see the whole Battambang area,

It was discovered in 1992 that this was another area where Pol Pot killed people.  There was a hole in the mouth of a cave that they would throw bodies into.

Nick had bought some Pineapple and one of the monkey stole it from him.  It came up and grabbed it right out of his hand.

About 6 of us took the day off to rest and catch up on some down time.  We then walked up the street and met up with the rest of the group for dinner.
